Project description
As the world is constantly advancing, the term future is currently devancing. We think of future in past and forthcoming terms, of overdue prospective, we project impendings, we envision utopias without effective ultimacies. Architecture as conceptual thinking is linking vision with understanding and art. Scaping the technicality, the architecture overview landscape has the potential of a canvas: the hypothetical conception, the abstractisation of representation, the subjectivity of interpretation, the viability of the utopian projection. Under the currently Venice Art Biennale – ALL THE WORLD’S FUTURES – the upcoming seems to be an apotheosis sum of all artistic vision and worldly expressions. The current seminar is incidentally projecting the overall perspective as an artistic view as a sub-theme.
The ART-TEXTURE and ART-TECHTURE OF FUTURE LANDSCAPES is an applied workshop, provoking the architectural expression as an artistic subjective representation, intriguingly build upon the 2015 biennale theme and subjects. Landscapes of the futures are actually the isolated projection of the architects minds, envision in artistic terms, as the landscape has the wide potential of multiple readings. Speaking of color and non-color, density as concentration, lines and vibration, the workshop consists in materializing in a CONCEPTUAL MODEL (by 30×30 cm) the architecture as art. Thus the art-techture and art-texture is an envision expression of the architecture of landscape, a landscape with or without people, buildings, but ultimately a projected landscape of our future living and envisioned occupation in time…
